I volunteered to read the poem making fun of William Carlos Williams out loud.
I'm not sorry, because we talked about it all weekend
and I didn't want anyone else to have it.
Also, I got a letter from King's College today, informing me which classes I have been "allocated," which means the ones I am stuck with, like it or not. They are
modern theater,
victorians and social change,
elizabethan shakespeare,
twentieth century postwar fiction,
australian literature and film,
first world war literature,
paradise lost,
and poetry in america 1900-1950.
Luckily, I am pretty happy with these courses. I am going to move to london for a year and read a lot.

i nutted all over your face last night
i'm not sorry at all
because it is unforgivable!
your classes looks fun, except the one on Victorians and Social Change. yick.
and why does it say "elizabethan shakespeare"? is there a non-elizabethan shakespeare I'm missing?
australian class should be cool. no one ever talks about australian literature. but I hope that's not because it sucks!
dude in english sr. year did you write a scene from a play/novel where you took a minor character and made him the main character after reading Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead? We did the Rime of the Ancient Mariner from the creeped-out wedding guest's POV. so fun.
Dude, did you actually read that same poem in class? Because if you did it would be so awesomely meta.
M- yes silly, this is a nonfictional blog! we read the original and the mocking and then I made my own. now you should write one having to do with mine and it will be glorious.
A- there is also "jacobean shakespeare" or something like that. I have no idea what you are talking about.
This is an awesome coincidence. Congratulations on the classes man. Seems like all you wanted. I think I'm very disturbed by A Good Man is Hard to Find.
done and done
i think modern theater, shakespeare, fiction, and paradise lost sound amazing.
An entire semester worth of Milton. Try not hating him. Australian literature and film though... wow.
damn, those classes sound pretty freaking awesome. i dunno about the australian literature though, only thing i ever heard australians were good at was making beer and talkin' funny. -santee
